Hot Air Balloons Festival of Taunggyi in Myanmar
Waiting for handmade hot air balloons of Taunggyi going up in the sky is one magical experience and unforgettable moment in my whole life travel diary. Even though I have recorded the video of it with many accompanying pictures, the video couldn’t capture the people’s excitement and happiness of lighting the balloon up, decorating with lamps on its skin, and releasing into the sky. Everyone’s attention was on the balloons as the balloon went up slowly people sighed at the beautiful sight. People’s worry was also well described not only with look but also the sound “Woooooh!!!, “ when it went down. The whole huge plain ground was full with people sitting through the whole night just for the balloons. How awesome is that?
I guess you will have to be there to experience why this festival captures thousands and thousands of visitors every year for this Taunggyi Hot Air Balloons Festival in November.
